Who Are We?
Oliver Treanor Miska
Founding Director
After years of community organizing, grassroots political advocacy, and working in the classroom teaching students to write, I launched Solidarity Policy in July 2024 to build on established relationships with my current clients: Washington Ethnic Studies Now, UW Professor David Knight, and the South Seattle Emerald.
I’m drawn to this work to make political advocacy accessible to youth and those too often shut out from policy conversations.
I am excited to build partnerships in solidarity with community organizations, student groups, parents/caregivers, or individuals interested in implementing their liberation strategies for educational, racial, and economic justice.
Whether it is developing legislative strategies or producing media, advising campaigns or analyzing policy, I look forward to creating resources and strategies to empower your team’s vision.
